Range Repair

Burner won't light, oven runs hot or cold, or the whole range feels unreliable — freestanding ranges, done right.

Freestanding ranges combine a cooktop and oven in one unit, which means two systems can fail independently. We diagnose which one is actually causing your problem before recommending anything.

Typical repair range: $130–$420 · Covers most burner, igniter, bake/broil element, and control board repairs.

FAQ

Range Repair questions, answered

My gas burner clicks but won't light — what's that?

Usually a dirty or failing igniter, a clogged burner port, or a misaligned burner cap. All are quick, affordable fixes once we're on-site.

Is it safe to keep using a range that smells like gas?

No — turn off the gas supply and ventilate the area immediately, then call us (or your gas utility for a suspected leak). A faulty valve or connection needs to be inspected before the range is used again.

Do you work on gas, electric, and dual-fuel ranges?

All three, including slide-in and freestanding configurations.

One burner works but another doesn't — is that a bigger problem?

Usually not — burners on a range are largely independent, so a single dead burner is typically an isolated igniter or switch issue, not a sign the whole range is failing.
